The Brisbane Sport Fishing Adventure Club is a small exclusive fishing club, whose members share a love of fishing for marlin and other sport fish and can enjoy fishing adventures for a fraction of the price of owning, maintaining and crewing their own boats.  The club is not competiton based and is more focused on the enjoyment of sport fishing adventures, however we do fish to IGFA rules, so point scores can be gained for members who belong to other game fishing clubs and we will fish tournaments if members wish to.

The club  boat Megumi is a 44ft Assegai, one of a small stable of Australia's best custom built sport fishing boats and is skippered by Ken Brown, one of  Queensland’s best known boating identities through his Brownies Coastwatch program and Coastwatch reports on Channel 7 Brisbane, 4KQ and the Sunday Mail.  From the mid 80’s through the early 90’s “Brownie” was heavily involved in the development of the blue marlin fishery off southern Queensland. He holds Marine Master 5 and MED 2 qualifications.  Our deckhand is Matt Sander, who has many years experience in marlin fishing, both in SE Qld and the heavy tackle seasons on the Ribbon Reefs.
